Please ensure you have installed ISO Buster and you have your Windows XP CD in the CD/DVD drive before proceeding.
Before we can start to use any CD-Writing software to make use of the XPCD folder, we need to extract an important file from the Windows XP CD. This file allows the CD to be bootable and this will then allow you to install Windows XP.
Open ISO Buster, and allow it to scan your drives and read your Windows XP CD. You should then see the contents of the Windows XP CD appear on the right. |
Now click Bootable CD and you should then see two files appear on the right. |
We now need to extract the file, Microsoft Corporation.img and to do this right click on Microsoft Corporation.img and choose Extract Microsoft Corporation.img |
Save the file as Microsoft Corporation at the root of the C: drive. |
